chemical Sector in Misr Petroleum Company is one of the main aspects
in the activity of petroleum field in Egypt. The chemical sector
covers the requirements of the local market as well as theneeds of customers through its refined chemical and petroleum
manufactured according to up-to-date international specifications,
taking into account the variable needs of the market and any product
has a life cycle, which starts by offering it in the market ending by
withdrawing it, passing through the stageof growth which is followed up by the necessity in finding the
convenient alternative and developing the present product.
Misr
petroleum operates large scale chemical manufacturing pants in
El-Amereya and Alexandria. This gives us a powerful platform in
expansion not only in Egypt but in the African market as well. MPC
owns a major blendingplant
for mixing and bottling engine oils, industrial oils and lubricants
according to the most recent technology with total annual capacity
4500,000 tons in bulk, drums, gallons or liters. Moreover, MPC owns a
major chemicals factory producing numerous products for households
purposes, insecticides, agricultural and industrial chemicals.
